One would think something as straight forward as concrete repair and leveling would be figured out after nearly ninety years but, as with everything, time marches on. You either take advantage of the advances in the industry or you get left behind.

Years ago when I was investigating this business I looked at the methods commonly in use to raise settled concrete, namely Mudjacking and pressure grouting along with the more technically demanding Geo-polymer injection.

I was leaning toward the simpler method of Mudjacking until I was able to see first hand the advantages of the newer technology; smaller holes, less time on each job, no inconsistent material issues, much less mess, noise and cleanup. Simply put the process sold itself to me as a business owner, but more importantly I could see the advantages selling themselves to potential customers.

In addition to the method being faster, less intrusive and quieter the materials can be formulated for the needs of the job. Light duty, heavy-duty, soil stabilization, water displacing and more. We use HMI RR401g which is a D.O.T. approved polymer. RR401g is a dense, water displacing material that we proudly advertise.

Entering our fifth season in 2015 the verdict is in, Geo-polymer Slabjacking is the superior method for raising concrete, void filling and soil stabilization.

When you make the decision to do something about that settled concrete, call the professionals.
