Coring a lot of holes through what is often 18″ of concrete is very time consuming so shortcutting the process is a temptation.
Polyurethane flows extremely well, depending on the material selected, as far as ten or fifteen feet in diameter. In addition, holes are only 5/8″ so the process is much quicker with less chance of slab fractures.
