Slabjack Geotechnical is the most technologically advanced slab lifting Company in the Pacific Northwest. This coupled with our commitment to be on the cutting edge of the industry allows us to raise slabs others only dream about, do projects considered too tricky by other companies and because we source our product locally we can do it for less money than our competitors.
If you have an estimate in hand by any of our competitors using polyurethane injection to raise concrete slabs we will beat the estimate by 10%
We just recently completed a residential Seawall stabilization project in Bellingham using a single component polyurethane to permeate the soil behind the wall and to seal cold joints.
Using a single component polyurethane mixed with a catalyst that reacts with water, Slabjack Geotechnical is able to inject material deep behind the wall which permeates the soil and return stability to the Seawall or Bulkhead.
This method is by fa the safest way to stabilize Seawalls and bulkheads. Plural component polyurethane can place enormous lateral stress against the wall and cause damage such as bowing, in the case of walls, or in the case of bulkheads, moving rocks out of position or worse.
There are applications where plural component polymers make sense but they are not as thorough at sealing cold joints, filling underneath footers and creating a watertight barrier behind the wall.
If you are dealing with soggy soil wall or worse give us a call today,
Superior technology, Superior polymers, Superior results!
Seawalls and bulkheads can be very problematic. And when they begin to fail can create some structural problems not just for the wall itself but for homes and businesses that rely on the wall for protection. Slabjack Geotechnical can help. Using both single and plural component systems we stabilize and prolong the life of infrastructure.
Below are some photographs of recent projects we have done using both compaction grouting as well as permeation grouting to seal leaks and prevent further erosion.
