Slabjack Geotechnical case study – settled concrete outbuildings and shops

Outbuildings and shops are typically built by a simple concrete slab on grade construction. While not heavy, due to the lack of a foundation they can be prone to settling. Replacement of the slab foundation is extremely difficult making concrete leveling the “go to” method of repair.

In addition to settling, cracking is also common. Fortunately Slabjack Geotechnical is prepared to deal with both settling and crack repair.

Geo-polymer Slabjacking with particular attention to bridging the crack line with the polymer thus underselling  and stabilizing the crack coupled with epoxy injection which fills the crack with a durable repair material that also binds the slab back together is the least costly, quickest and least disruptive method to return your outbuilding  to full use.

We recently leveled a pump house for a school district in Central Washington. Geo-polymer Slabjacking coupled with I-beam bracing due to very large void under one corner enabled the district to save their pump house, continue to operate the sprinklers and saved the taxpayers thousands of dollars.
