Road leveling with Polyurethane got it’s start about thirty years ago and since then has become the preferred method of repair.

Prior to polyurethanes introduction, pressure grouting with concrete or Mudjacking was used. The problem with these materials and methods is primarily additional weight and “Pyramiding”  where the material doesn’t fill the void created when a slab is lifted and resettling results. Another problem is these materials don’t flow well so holes need to be drilled every few feet and the holes are often 2″ in diameter. Coring a lot of holes through what is often 18″ of concrete is very time consuming so shortcutting the process is a temptation.

Polyurethane flows extremely well, depending on the material selected, as far as ten or fifteen feet in diameter. In addition, holes are only 5/8″ so the process is much quicker with less chance of slab fractures. Today 1-855-752-2522 offers DOT approved polymers from 4-6lbs a cubic foot for municipal roads, bridge approaches and extra heavy slabs such as grain bins and silos and multi step porches.

County and City engineers are looking for economical solutions for infrastructure repair, 1-855-752-2522 along with our partners have successfully completed over two thousand projects nationwide.
