A question we get often is “Can you seal my cracks and joints on my concrete?” and yes, the answer is yes!

There are many different reasons why you would want to make sure the joints of either your driveway, walkway or patio is sealed up. First reason we recommend caulking those joints are to make sure there is no water from either rain fall or sprinklers that can get down through those cracks and or joints to cause erosion which then leads to voids under your slabs leaving the concrete unstable and vulnerable to crack due to pressure and more likely to settled.

Another reason our estimators would recommend caulking these areas would be it gives the concrete a nice finished look. (some before and after photos attached at end)

There are many benefits from caulking the joints and cracks of your concrete but by giving us a call at Slabjack Geotechnical we can point you in the right direction to get your concrete in the best shape!
